Why Isn't Elder Scrolls VI going to be on the Xbox 360

I'm not aware of a Divinity 3, but "The Dragon Knight" saga is the complete and remastered Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, with it's bugs fixed and the add on "Flames Of Vengeance" built into the game.

As for the comparisons you mentioned, all those factors apply to most games in the genre.

    They're almost all good games.

    .

Two Worlds II has an awesome crafting system. You can dismantle anything you find into resources. Before Skyrim released, it was my top RPG pick. It looks good, plays good, and is well rounded. The only problems are that it suffers from the problem a lot
of games have where earlier in the game there's a lot to do, then it thins out later on, and the final battle of the game has no connection to how anything else in the game is, so you can't prepare for it, and you have to do any side stuff first because you
can't go back. Now, TWII also has an amazing multiplayer system that adds to the experience too.

Nice, I like taking stuff apart lol. If its any better than the first I may give it a try. That's been something I liked in KoA and wish it was in more games, like skyrim. I do wish skyrim had a much deeper forging system, make something that I can feel
like "no where in the game world would I find another like this". I also loved the forging system in KoA since whatever parts you add will add certain affects.

In TWII it's nice because you can upgrade your skills and continually improve any item you have, or create new.

I actually don't like the system in KoA because items you find are consistently better than anything you can craft yourself.

i beg to differ. even at low level i could create something that was far better than anything i had found or would find for a few levels.

  6. Having just finished the main questline for Arcania I have to say that I am extremely impressed.

    .

I have to say that I really enjoyed the adventure.

It is good. I've made it to the town after the forge, but I can't find how to get back to earlier areas from there, as there are a couple quests I missed, and one achievement requires getting every quest.

    The town *after* the forge?

    .

I don't believe you can go back that far, to be honest, but I'm not certain. You may need a second playthrough. I went through the game on Gothic difficulty first off and finished the Achievement for having over 200, 000G at once, which was good, but the
DLC makes that more than possible anyway.

    .

I actually, after having sold everything, hit 235, 000. I guess that's what you get when you buy nothing but carrots, apples and bolts throughout the whole game. Lol.

    .

Sigh Why Isn't Elder Scrolls VI going to be on the Xbox 360 :p

Damn, I should have started on gothic to get it out of the way too. Didn't see in the cheevos there was one for difficulty. Crap. Also, rented TW2. MUCH better than the first one. Camera controls are a bit wonky on the PS3 controller and the fighting and
button mapping is confusing to all hell (I kept drinking potions when I was trying to block lol) but overall a good game.

Once you are used to the buttons on TWII it's all good, but they can be tricky to get the proper hang of.

    .

In regards to ArcaniA, I had read online that you can safely get to that town and still go back. May be wrong. I also read online that the cheevo for all recipes is glitched and only ever pops for a very small fraction of people, thus making that and the
one for all other cheevos impossible to get.

I'll need a second playthrough for the difficulty cheevo anyway, but doing good as far as the others.

    .

Taking a break though from the RPGs though. Finished some other stuff and took in some Xbox junk for EB trade in, and walked out with Lego Marvel at only $4 out of my wallet.

  11. Starting up Dragon's Dogma now, since I've finished Arcania.

    .

I must again say that I had a great time with Arcania and would recommend it as far as an underrated, overlooked RPG gem goes.

  12. Interesting.

    .

My first impressions with Dragon's Dogma were very strong. The game has some of the best character customisation out there --we are talking about Dark Arisen here-- and it's easily my favourite. They are lacking options to customise some details, like a
character's chin, but they've got hairstyles galore and I love that I can go straight to the female options if I wish to.

    .

I don't wish to, but I do have long hair and I very much appreciate the wide variety of largely-unseen customisation options.

    .

The tutorial sequence is strong too, I enjoyed it. I didn't realise you can presumably jump on Harpies and beat them to death, which would have been helpful, but the AI had it covered since I could do very little. The Chimera I lost to, but it was unfortunate.
I was blocking and it ran me over as it was about a centimetre away from death. I assume you get something off it/an Achievement for beating it.

    .

The game options are solid but I would like to know why I am playing with adjustment bars and can't change it and why on earth they decided to make it look like the game had only 'Easy' and 'Normal' as difficulty options. I was distressed, until I saw 'Hard
Mode' listed under 'New Game' for some inexplicable reason.

    .

The graphics/whatnot are OK, they're fine, but they're definitely not the sharpest out there. Hopefully that is just a problem for the village you start in, because the tutorial looked much better and the village was sub-amazing. The game stuttering every
time I hit a box is quickly going to get annoying too, *especially* if that applies to hitting enemies.

    .

I do have a few questions, though I don't really want to know anything other than what I ask. No offense intended, I just like to take it as naturally as possible.

    .

    1) Is there an Achievement for finishing the game on Hard? It won't change anything but I'm curious as it has to be a secret one and that would be strange.

    .

    2) Can a Warrior or a Mage use a bow, or vice versa for a different option? I went with a Warrior as I absolutely love two-handed weapons (and LMGs) but I believe I would enjoy a bow as well and I'm curious as to whether I'm right in that I had to give one
    up entirely.

    .

Ugh. I've got plenty of questions actually, since I LOVE knowing things, but that's the absolute beauty of experiencing a new game yourself : )

    .

I must finish off by saying that I love the damage you take on Hard (one hit knocked off a third of my character's health) and very much appreciate there being other differences than just the damage done/taken when playing on Hard. In this case it is supposedly
getting more gold off enemies (couldn't tell you, haven't seen any other than some funky eels) but I love that kind of change.

    .

    Overall, impressed and keen.

Bob, a Mage can advance to a Magic Archer using daggers and a bow through the strider class. A warrior can become a Mystic Knight with magic and a sword. Your have 3 more options than your Pawn to grow into but you can change your class as often as you want
and, though some options are not open unless you are in that class, you don't lose anything you learned if you change. For example, when I was a mage, I could heal, when I became a sorcerer I could not, but my rank and abilities remain and if I went back to
mage I could again. My pawn is a strider but was a fighter. If I need him to be a fighter again he will still have his skills but I would need to change some equipment. As someone who has trouble sometimes finding a useful pawn to hire I will say this. Don't
    neglect your pawn.

  14. NTW, I also was very impressed with the character customization options in Dragons Dogma and loved that I can also customize my pawn.

[/quote]im surprised you were able to play hard mode right away. you have to playthrough once to unlock it and speedrun mode. a warrior or mage can only use their respective weapons (two-handers and staves) but like lady said, magic archer cane use a mages
staff with magic bows and assassin is basically knight and strider combined. but there is no class that can use 2-hander and a bow. each class will also contribute to how your stats grow as you level up, so depending on how you like to play, you can actually
plan ahead and build your character. how your stats grow will also change with your level. 1-10 will net the most with the 3 basic classes, so choose wisely. 10-100 will be slightly lowered but you will have access to the advanced classes and be able to gain
better stats with them. 100+ will net you the least amount of points, so be sure to build your character before then. as for the chimera, you can only get materials from it, you only get achievements for killing a hydra, dragon, evil eye, and the Ur-dragon,
and you only get a cheevo for completing the game a second time. i guess if you have the dark arisen copy, i think hard mode is open for you at the beginning, IDK since i started on the original one. on hard mode, you take more damage and i think use a bit
more stamina, but creatures will drop a lot more gold. there are a few VERY easy ways to farm gold, just look on youtube if you are strapped for cash lol. as for pawns. any person who is on your friends list, you can rent their pawns for free, even if they
are at the max level. though by doing this you will net significantly less EXP, so be careful when renting pawns at a higher level than you. also make sure to not neglect your main pawn when it comes to armor and weapons. eventually you can be able to wear
what you want, but even at max level, pawns can go full retard and kill themselves very quickly. if you have any more questions, just ask on the DD forum. i check it every day
