Why isnt Alpha Protocol on backwards comp?

I know sega lost the licensing for the music, but why cant microsoft find a way around that (fixing the issue) and get us this gem. We all need to play this game again. I never got to finish it!

Becauelse sega owns the rights to that game

And the sega has the source code needed to make the patch

And ontop of that the bc program is on hold anyways

that would be pretty cool, but ultimately i wanna see alpha protocol on the backwards compatible list

I want to see Alpha Protocol Backwards Compatible. it's in my list of all time favourite games (but then it was made by Obsidian and their other games are classic as well)

Alpha Protocol's strong point is in the story. You can pick to do the locations in any order you want and yet the story still flows perfectly.



The story really is what stops the game from being a complete stinker.



However everything else about it has a feeling that the developers just said "good enough." and that is a sad thing.



You can see and feel throughout the game that with a little more care and attention that everything from the controls to the environments could have been vastly improved.



It's a shame really as there really is a gem under the surface, and with a struggle you can find it, but once again Obsidian have given us a lump of coal instead.

I really liked Alpha Protocol- so much so that I actually bought it for both consoles (though I gave my PS3 copy to a friend) for the combined total of about $18!

Okay, there were some issues (the texture pop-in was the most noticeable to me), but the idea that your choices could actively shape your game felt more satisfying to me than Mass Effect 3 did!
