    Why is Xbox support so incredibly **** now?!??!


    You try to talk to an actual person about an issue and they make you go through confusing hoops to do it! It says chat is 24/7, but I can't even get the option; then to top it off the ai is ridiculously stupid, which is even more infuriating. My Series
    X Xbox keeps freezing & then crashing when I try to play Call of Duty Cold War (YES I HAVE THE X VERSION OF THE GAME INSTALLED!) It's also happened with Sekiro, Apex Legends & Destiny 2; however they have only crashed the once and work fine now.

    With a problem like that what do you expect them say. I know what theyll say, power cycle, clear the catch, turn off your modem for 30 secs, etc etc etc. Or may even blame it on your ISP network. What i suspect is they got to patch up the CoD. Everytime
    i play something new on a large scale the bugs are awful for the first few weeks until the optimize the game and or the new system in this case. Nevertheless, to answer your question xbox customer support is out sourced now and they make it difficult to connect
    with them. Back when xbox customer support ran by microsoft all you had to do is dial 18004myxbox and you had instant connection with them. They out sourced the support system now to distance them selves from their player base. Have them read a script and
    have to travle a maze full of smoke and mirrors. Its pretty pathetic to be honest. However, if you really think your xbox is faulty, register it in your microsoft account under devices, request a repair, a lable will ship and standard time to recieve it back
    would be 14 days. Id only do that if i felt it was my only option because that 14 days could turn into a month or two given the current state of affairs right now. Yet, i give it at least a week or two before i make a move like that. Good luck.

    Why is it SO difficult to contact Xbox One support?

    Tried multiple times for MS to call me back - they never have done in the 7 times ive now tried.

    Just get a message saying " We will call you in about 2 minutes" and they never do.,

    Ultimate Pass has expired anyway and Ive sorted a new Gold subscription for £39.99 now and thats gone through OK so all is well.

    I think some of the pro-Kinect people miss the point. Everyone knows that the K2 is now part of the Xbox One. The argument is that it never had to be like that. Just because they put it in the box doesn't mean it HAD to be that
    way.



    Not everyone is convinced that the K2 is essential and practical. Forcing the Kinect to be plugged in doesn't count as essential because it didn't need to be that way. MS designed it like that, not because the Kinect was ever
    needed to make the system work well. It's not like motion sensing on the Wii. That's the point.

    But the end result is still the same OUgroundGAME. It's still not being utilised. If I've made the decision to never use it, what difference does it make whether it's plugged in or not?

    I personally hope there is an application I will find appealing. But as we've clearly seen, some people don't care for it at all. Now if the people not using it are the minority, isn't it enough for the devs that the majority will utilise it?

    I'm not going to get into an argument here. I'm just trying to apply a little logic and common sense to the situation as it has been defined so far.
