Why is xbox signing me out

I had the same issue. Started around 3 months ago. It seems to have stopped now. It was incredibly frustrating when it logs out mid game as it says "I don't have permission to play the game" and kicks me back to the start screen losing all my current gameplay.
I have checked settings on my router but all is correct. I think this was an Xbox Live issue. I logged it with support and they are getting back to me..... still!

There are a few possibilities here:

1.) You may have a strict NAT type (the reason for disconnecting from the internet and/or Xbox Live Services)

2.) Someone may have your account and logs-in around the same hour(s) as you (check on any friends or family that may have access to your email and password to establish log-in times)

3.) If you have multiple accounts on an Xbox and an account is linked to the particular controller you are using rather than your main account, it will sign-out any account that's not linked to your controller.

Also if the frequency is hourly between your game sessions, it's possible that it may be a NAT issue.

Kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

- Clearing the cache and cookies of your browser.
- Changing browsers. (Specifically Google Chrome)
- Disabling extensions / going incognito or in-private browsing.
- Disconnect from the VPN or Proxy server.
- Try different devices and network services.

Then sign in to account.microsoft.com, Microsoft Store and account.xbox.com to see if it works.

The problem is not my Xbox Live connection...it's my profile. When I launch a game it signs me out. When I leave a game it signs me out. Why?
