Why Is xbox removing my friends?

For some reason, every once in a while one of my particular friends keeps on disappearing off my friends list. When I ask him if he is getting the same thing, he says no. When I try to add him back, the xbox says,"Sorry, we are unable to save your changes
at the moment. Try again in a while." But no matter how long I wait, I can never add him back.

Someone please help me out.

I'll have to ask him again when he gets back from holidays. Thanks for the advice.

I have asked him before and looked on his Xbox and I am not blocked on anything. Thanks for the idea thou.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this issue. Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty adding your friend. If you haven't already, you may wish to try adding him from the Xbox app on a Windows 10 device or from a mobile phone to see if
you get the same or a different result. How to manage Friends, Followers, and Favorites in the Xbox app

Alternatively, from the message you're receiving during your attempts, you also may wish to check on your network connection. If you are on a wireless connection, you may want to try out a wired Ethernet connection as well. This is also good if you do a
lot of multiplayer gaming because it really kills lag. Try out the Xbox One Connection and Network Solution and let us know the results!

Good night. Try restarted the console and try again include youre friend in youre list.

He maybe blocking you, which would hide him from your view.
