why is xbox quick to ban people but not fix its service? i used to get 4 bars on my router now ...

Alright, so we went out and bought a NetGear N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit WLAN Router with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz capabilities like recommended. My Xbox signal has improved from 3 bars to a full 4 bars, but the 4 bars go to 2 bars, to 1 bar, back to 4 bars,
etc, etc, etc. Nothing is staying constant. We are using Channel 6 (it says we're the only people in our neighborhood using that channel). Everything from the Internet, to even my xbox connection (4 bars now, instead of 3) seem stronger, but my xbox signal
won't stay on 4 bars. It'll keep skipping from 4, to 2, to 4, to 1, to 4. What's the problem now?

This is just the new excuse the cod whiners are using.. connection is still how its always been on cod, a 2 bar forget it you never win close quarters, 4 bar good to go.

I don't get why people are saying its other way round.. lol

What is strange is that every device in my 3-stories home works flawlessly, 4/4 bars. But the Xbox is at the same level of the router and got barely 2 bars on 4. That's why I think the Xbox is the culprit in that case.

Might the antenna failed?

No, I cannot connect direct to the router because it is too far away and there are no other cables in the house where i can plug the router into. When i did have my xbox near my router it connected fine with an open NAT, but i don't want my xbox there thats
why i bought an extender because where i moved my xbox, it can't connect directly to the router as its too far away, thus there being a brick wall to get through. The extenders connection is 3/4 bars if that helps.

Its hard to tell who is host now. Its like when the game starts, multiple people will get 4 bars first, not one like in the past games. I always get 4 bars when playing alone, but then I gotta deal with the teammate random issues, LOL. I do play with several
guys here in the forums from the southwest/gulf coast areas and we connect up good though. When I party up its more hit or miss with 4 bars, than when alone, its 99% of the time 4 bars.
