    Why is Xbox Ones Menus so slow ?


    It takes this thing 3 mins to reply to a message , when I want to block a player it takes 3 mins 30 seconds to just view their gamercard to get to the option to block them . The 360 is way faster when carrying out these operations , As far as I can tell
    the Xbox One is taking forever because it's tapping into the 360s database to pull up Profile info . This is next Gen ? jumping on the 360s shoulders instead of carrying its own weight , and please god get rid of the stupid windows 8 style menus , they still
    drive me nuts why when the 360s menus are what we as gamers are use to would you go with a PC style/inspired menu . Anyway speed up the access to Profile info its stupid slow for the power these consoles have .

    Seems a bit mental you have to do a restart every week or so because it becomes so sluggish.

    Hopefully it's something they can sort out via a patch because it ain't half annoying!

    Are you sure it's not latency induced from your display running post processing effects to enhance the image?

    The delays there for me as well and always has been since the NXE. Can't really do much about it. It's much worse when I'm signed into XBL however for some reason.
