Why is Xbox family sharing not working?

Why doesn't family sharing work on PC with my Ultimate subscription? My son can use our family Ultimate on his Xbox but not on PC.

Hey Benny boy why in the **** did Microsoft stop family sharing because now I have an 8 year old crying because he can't play a game I bought. Like seriously about a ****'n week ago my kids didn't need my account to play the ****'n game now they can't even use theirs because they don't have the games they want to play! Fix your **** before you start losing customers, seriously first you guys lock ALL the newest Games and only allow access to them for players with a next gen consoles. Now we're dealing with this **** that my own kids can't play games I bought!

Just to clarify, is this the Xbox Game Pass Friends & family subscription that he is sharing to you? Or is it just the normal games he purchased on his account?

Because as for the Game Pass subscription, only the games listed on the Game Pass category can be shared. Those he purchased on his account will not be shared even if he adds you to the Family group, the games he purchased will only be shared by means of the Home Xbox feature which is available on Xbox device only.

On the part where it says "With the Friends & Family plan, all five members enjoy the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate, with their own unique access to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games, content, and benefits, regardless of what device they play on. All the people you invite can play at the same time—you can even play together in the same game. Plus, you can include friends and family outside your household." you may do play the same game so long as it is part of the Xbox Game Pass games.

You’re aloud to share with family as that’s why it gives you the option for sharing gold with family, how else would you be able to share with them without their account? (Why else would you have make this account your home Xbox)
