Why is Xbox banning people for doing literally nothing wrong?

I just want to know when Microsoft is going to stop with the gross abuse of power when it comes to wrongfully banning people. I got a 15 day ban for asking someone to swap character in a game. That in no way breaks community guidelines. It's not bullying harassment or hate speech, therefore not bannable. And on top of this, they don't even give an actual reason for the ban when you appeal it, they just give false blanket statements. It's crazy that you can't even communicate without getting banned because all someone has to do is say you hurt their feelings to get you banned regardless of what you say. This is why gaming is dying.

While maybe not specifically 'selling' content, you're still attempting to trade outside of the in-game mechanisms, which would be an offence leading to a suspension.

Nice try, asking someone to switch off a character is not attempting to sell anything. So that rule wouldn't apply.

Exactly Adam. I have nothing wrong with console bans. But the people who are innocent do not need to be treated as guilty when they have done nothing wrong.

I know for 110% i have done nothing wrong to have my console banned...if xbox will not give me a good reason why i was banned i am going to ps3...there crazy if they think i will go out and buy a new xbox...they will lose tons of people to ps3 if this keeps

I agree people should be banned for breaking the rules but like myself if you get banned for nothing that you can see you did wrong and the fact they dont send people a message stating why they have been banned or reply to emails is a complete joke.

If people spend there cash to buy the game they made then they should show people some respect and take the time to say why they got banned
