    Why Is "Watchdogs" Such A Small Game?


    Well it's no secret the game was originally for the XBox 360 and PS 3. Given the "Next Gen Overhaul" it's now clocking at the same size as "Black Flag".

    Imagine what could have been if they had been working with the latest hardware from the beginning?

    It's still a great game and in some places quite visually impressive as well.

    It's also taken a couple of generations but it's nice to see some people finally twigging on to the concept of compression and understanding that just because a game doesn't tip the scales as the biggest Hard Drive Filler doesn't mean it's not fun to play.

    PC games have been Watch_Dogs-sized for years and have had far superior graphics to consoles.

    It's not how big the game is, it's how good its assets are that matter.

    Look how big Skyrim was. I think it was only 3.8 gigs and on 1 disc for the 360. Impressive.

    Just because something takes more to download (I'm looking at you Wolfenstein with your 50gbs), doesnt mean it qualifies being a next-gen game.

    @Maximum -- None of the pre-order bonuses come with the digital release as they were all retailer-specific. You can, however, pick up the Season Pass and get every piece of pre-order bonus that was available.

    Could it be that the 20GB is the download size, but once the files are downloaded, unzipped and installed, the total size is actually more like 40GB as mentioned above?
