Why is voice chat muted on pubg and everyone I play with is muted

the application(and overlay) shows me i have not muted them before I go to the party voice chat, but when i join to the voice chat the app shows me i have muted other guys and i cant remove that mute

the only ways to mute lobbies as of right now is to manually mute everyone in lobby/game or by going into your preferences and blocking all but friends for voice communications. the block is nice if you don't play with a lot of random people and stay with
just your friends. the only other way is to play in party chat the way most of my clan play eliminating the need to mute anyone (except your friends when they annoy you).

you can mute the original kinect so i dont see why not this one

If you're exchanging mutes with everyon you come into contact with, you'll get banned after you get muted enough. You DO know that you can change your voice settings so that you can only hear the people on your team, right? It saves you the trouble of having
to mute everyone, and doesn't warrant possibly undeserved mute bans.

I play on PS3 and always mute everyone in the lobby(no party chat) and can still occasionally hear people in the lobby that I've muted. Doesn't happen often. Also I believe that even if they are muted you can hear there response when you kill them. Maybe
its a glitch caused by that.
