Why is this happening?

For some reason my Xbox has this weird thing going on with the minecraft application. When I started the console, the app had a small caution symbol on it, and when I clicked it, the following window was displayed:



It said that minecraft needed an update, BUT it said that the update was 0 KB. (look around the top right corner) This somewhat confused me, but I went on with it, without thinking that it could get worse...

After I clicked update, it appeared in the queue, and I went off to do something to pass the time so it can update, Except, it didn't update. When I returned, the bar for it was Still at 0%! The only way I got it to move was doing a hard reset by holding the power button for 8 seconds, and turning the console back on.

After doing this once, I SAW THIS:



So it got to 100%, but it made a separate application???

This is when I started to get a little worried.

The minecraft on the right is the one that "needs an update", and the one to the left is the so called "0 KB" update, which is displaying itself as a new application that is being installed on the console. Seeing this, I wanted to know which of the 2 was the actual minecraft and this is what I found:

Notice how the (C) one has all my data, and is in the latest version. But the (I) one has NO version, NO data, and at a size of 1.7 GB, while the (C) one has around 800 MB!

I tried to get rid of the (I) version but none of what I did worked, not even a clear of the queue, an installation cancel, or a hard reset would get rid of it! And I knew that as long as that thing is there, I am locked out of the game.

Since that has happened, it was been over half a week with the game still locked like this:





I don't know why I waited until now to report this. All the images were taken this afternoon after my last attempt to resolve this without help, which was also kind of stupid.

I hope I find some other way to fix this while you generate a response, and if there is anything I haven't tried to resolve this, let it be included to your answer to this weird mess of information
