Why is this game hard to find?

I'm not really a console gamer so please forgive me. I wanted to get this game which surprisingly isn't available
in digital download. Start calling all the local stores (Best Buy, Gamestop, Walmart, Kmart) and nobody has this game? Is it not a popular game? What am I missing?

Why is this problem so hard to fix

so i made a mistake and made this empty xbox account linked to my actual email instead of linking my actual xbox account to my new email, but there dosent seem to be a way of getting rid of this xbox account without deleting the microsoft account and that
tells me i'll loose the gmail account too, i wanna just delete this xbox account but its so hard to do with out possibly losing my email, any help would be greatly appreciated

If you didn't like Batman, you probably won't like this. It's not hard at all.

 

Try garage sales, hock shops , ebay etc. This brilliant game has been all but thrown onto the scrapheap by Microsoft, maybe secondhand will be your only option. Good luck in your search.

The Gamestop near me has about 14 copies of the game. The collector's edition is hard to find, but the standard edition is still in print as far as I can tell

You can still find new games of Forza 4 on Amazon.com. If you buy the game on Xbox Live, you can't get a refund or return it. And If you don't like the game you can return it and get your money back.

No, I've looked... Forza Horizon 1 is there for $20 digital version but not Forza Motorsport 4

And it's hard to find because it's STILL an awesome good game B-) Not a game fans are easy to let go of

Rayden1974's answer may have been correct at the time.

But yeah, you are right. The game and all of it's digital content is no where to be found digitally on the Xbox Store.

 

Ok, found the answer. The license for the content in the game had reached it's "End of Life" and so the marketplace content was all pulled. *Sigh*

WHO THE FRELL, DECIDES WHETHER A GAME HAS REACHED END OF LIFE?? It should be the people USING the FRELLING GAME!! NOT FRELLING LEGAL MORONS with no experience of gaming, gamers and the importance of the cultures involved.

 

It's not rocket science... the people who decide are the ones who know how much income the content is generating every month, and how much it's costing to continue to host and support that content every month. When the latter cost outweighs the former, the
plug is pulled.
