    why is there no option to type email or password for sign in


    i signed into the wrong account on the xbox app on my new pc and there is no option anywhere for me to sign out and sign into the correct account. Everytime i click sign out and sign in it just auto signs me into the same wrong account and doesnt give me an option anywhere to type the correct email or password

    The correct way is to reset the app from Windows under Apps > Installed apps> Xbox

    Cannot Connect to Xbox Live

    While I was typing the above message, xbox live was left signing in. It then asked me to sign in with my email address and password which I did and it signed in to xbox live no problem. Now why was that?

    Will go ahead and clear cache anyway.

    When I sign to the original account it gives me a popup saying: (You'll need this profile's microsoft account password to sign in.) Then I have a menu to type both my email and password. My email for this account is deleted so they're asking me to sign in
    to a dead email.

    How to change password

    Go to Microsoft sign in page and type in the email to the account youd like to change the password for, and select forgot password. Or sign in to the account fully, and head over to settings and security, and select change password. :)

    Can't recover Xbox Live account that has 12 month gold on it...

    You should be able to go to the email address website select the forgot password option when signing in to change the password.
