    Why is there no copy and paste on XBox One IE?


    I have been looking into this and everywhere I turn I read that there just isn't any copy and paste on the XBox One IE. However, it will copy and paste URLs from the address bar. This means that there is copy and paste available, just for some reason it
    was decided not to include it on the actual browser?

    Why?

    It's got to be one of the, if not the, most commonly used practices on the internet. It doesn't make sense to me to not include this, because as noted, it does work for the address bar. You just can't copy anything on pages. As a forum user, this is maddening.

    The most common suggestion for a 'work around' is to use Smartglass on my smartphone or tablet. For me however, it's difficult to do on my smartphone due to poor eyesight and thick fingers. If it was easy to do on my phone, I would just do it on my phone.

    So that is my question. Why can my phone/the address bar on the Xbox One/my son's dinky $20 five year old phone can all do copy and paste, but Microsoft's premier next-generation all-in-one home entertainment center and workstation cannot?
