    Why is there a gift limit?


    I have three brothers who wanted to play the new star wars with me so I loaded the correct amount of cash on my account using gift cards to buy them one each but after purchasing two copies xbox wont let me purchase the final one and its asking me to wait
    a few days. After a chat with support its actually 14 days so now I have one really disappointed little brother who misses out and 100 odd dollars on my account doing nothing. I wish they would let me send this last copy or at least let me transfer the credit
    so he can purchase it himself.

    Gifts?!?!?!

    Sadly the gifts are region specific this is why. I suggest reaching out to support to see if there is any refund that can be done.

    As Crazy1985 stated Xbox support directly would have to help with any type of override on this. But I also wanted to let you know that there is an official Xbox feedback site, where you could leave a suggestions on these types of things, to maybe change
    the system in the future. The section dedicated to the xbox store is here Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice

    As Crazy1985 stated Xbox support directly would have to help with any type of override on this. But I also wanted to let you know that there is an official Xbox feedback site, where you could leave a suggestions on these types of things, to maybe change

    That does seem quite short. usually for promotional offers they are limited to 90 days, but regular gift cards don't have that limit.

    Did you purchase promotional gift codes from somewhere? Bing Rewards for example are promotional codes that expire.
