    Why is the Xbox PC app so terrible?


    This is now the second game I have bought on Xbox that shows in the Xbox app on PC, even though it is not considered a play anywhere title (other was Limbo) and won't actually let you play on PC outside of cloud. Why is this app so bad and full of issues? It's no wonder that people will avoid games even if they are on game pass and instead buy on Steam when this is the experience you get.

    I also do understand why the app shows multiped versions of the same game rather than 1 version and then installing all DLC you own automatically. It's so cumbersome to install content and DLC.

    So Why is the Xbox PC App so Bad?

    The app is garbage, it disallows me from using my mic to speak in parties for literally no reason, it works perfectly on every other communication application, but on the Xbox App it just blasts static down the mic. Broken ass app please fix.

    Why Black Ops is GARBAGE!

    The hit boxes are terrible compared to the PC and PS3. Not sure why though. I have the most fun playing on the Xbox but it is also the most frustrating.

    Can you tell me which error message you received?

    Please, first, check your time settings, and set it to automatic.

    Press the Windows Key + X > Settings > Time & language > Date & time > Enable "Set Timezone Automatically" and "Set Time Automatically".

    Afterward, make sure your Windows is updated:

    Then, reset the Microsoft Store:

    Press the Windows Key + R

    Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

    Next, check for app updates on the store:

    With the Microsoft Store open, click on Library > Get Updates.

    After that, please, download the Gaming Services Repair tool: https://aka.ms/GamingRepairTool

    Once downloaded, execute the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Run as Administrator.

    Follow the prompts and check if the issue was resolved (Press "Y").

    Moving on from there, reset your network settings:

    Press Windows Key + X > Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Reset Now.
