    Why is the Xbox One so slow?


    With the processing power, the ram, seperate OS CPU cores etc... Why is there so much latency in trying to perform tasks such as party, launching apps etc...

    I was a Day One X2 buyer. I was willing to overlook the issues upon launch as I still believe the console was not ready to be launched and brand X caught MS by surprise. BUT, to still have some of the same issues and the slowness that the 360 just doesn't
    have... It is inexcuseable.

    Ah, I remember the Xbox blades from the early days of the Xbox 360 - they were so cool! From an artistic and aesthetic standpoint, I think it was the coolest design thus far. Convenient though? Not necessarily enough hence why it's changed so much over the
    years.

    The original Xbox 360 interface was like tabs. Semi-see though tabs like a file cabinet. Personally, that was my favourite. To be fair though a lot has changed and it doesn't seem practical any more.

    The delays there for me as well and always has been since the NXE. Can't really do much about it. It's much worse when I'm signed into XBL however for some reason.

    It's completely normal. All emulated games have lag.

    Any game that's emulated has a little bit of lag due to the fact that the original ROM has to go through the emulation program before it is translated to xbox programming. This is why i can't do the bonus levels in Sonic 3 right, i can't get precision turns
    the way i can on Genesis.
