Why is the Xbox One downloading while I'm playing Online Games?????

The 360 would stop downloads when you played online. I've had several instances when I'm playing online games (Battlefield 4 and COD:Ghost) when it would get extremely laggy. I'd check my network to discover that the Xbox is in the process of downloading
something (i have no idea what...apps doesn't show anything updating) It will either stop on it's own or stop when I reboot the box. Why is it doing this????

Last time (about 20 min ago) it was running at 4Mbs until I hit the power button (low power mode). Then it stopped.

Digital downloads, just an idea!

I know about being able to start playing a game once its partially downloaded but I'm thinking this would be handy when I'm working night shift etc... also what would online multiplayer be like whilst in the middle of downloading something? I'm thinking
online play won't work properly whilst downloading a full game but I don't know for sure.

 

Background Downloading

Are You Able To Play xbox Games While Downloading Something In The Background? Not Playing Online. Example Would Be Playing The Halo 4 Campigan And Downloading DLC For It At The Same Time.

 

And it gets better. Playing Titanfall last night and my Xbox is happily uploading while I'm playing the game. Uploading what? No clue. Once I stopped Titanfall it maxed out my upload badwidth for a few minutes and then went back to normal. Anyone have any
idea??? Not streaming or using twitch.
