Why is the Xbox App Broken Since the Last Update?

I can't put into words how FRUSTRATED I am that the Xbox App on PC just blasts static down the mic whenever I join a party since the last update about 3-4 days ago. My mic works PERFECTLY on everything else - Skype, Discord etc, but whenever I go on the
Xbox App and join a party is blasts static for some unknown reason when it's not the mic or my PC's Issue, it is the Xbox App's issue, it's been about four days of this and I want to know where the patch for it is? I've been waiting for this issue to be sorted
but it's still here, and it's the same for my friends on the Xbox App. So please for the love of god fix this quickly it makes the Xbox App unusable.

the messages on the Xbox app have been broken since the last update please fix

 

Is it playing static on your end or your friends? When I join a friends party they say they hear a weed Wacker sound coming from my mic and can't hear anything I say to them

 

Yes thats it, just blasts static but if I put playback on I can't hear it, so it's entirely the app.

 

Dude, that exactly **** happens to me, **** update, but it seems that they're doing nothing to fix it

I'm having the exact same issue as you. My headset mic works with everything else except for the Xbox app

 

Yep its like xbox staff don't even check these forums this is happening to so many people

 

oh my god i literally just put up a forum support post about this! i thought i was the only one having this issue! its so frustrating! i hope they fix this and soon

 

Figured they would probably have it fixed by two weeks, apparently not, lets go staff.

There are issues with the app from a year ago that have still not been fixed such as not being able to stream from the app sometimes i doubt this will get fixed anytime soon.

 

the funny thing is that I bought a software to record the streamings and post to youtube, and the next day send an update with this group audio problem. If you do not have a solution, or do not know how to solve it, revert the update.

I'm from Brazil and the Brazilian support is much better than this, at least there they answer something, here they leave you in limbo

 

How do you revert the update?
