Why is the Xbox 360 isolated from other devices?

They could but you gotta remember those servers would be shut down now support ended awhile ago

You have to.remember 3,rd parties won't keep servers up for games that arent selling since 360 games are out of print no new sales with the.exception of.bc titles even than the marketplace is shutting down in July

Do you have any others devices like PCs connected to your modem router at the same time? If so, just as an isolation test, could you try and switch off all the other devices so that only the Xbox 360 is using your modem router and try that out for an hour
or so?

1. What type of device are you using? (e.g. Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 10)

2. Are you able to play other games?

I am going to assume that the Xbox One connects to the other devices via a handful of hdmi cords and maybe a few other devices to control the power going to these other devices. So, why not an Xbox 360?

Are the following 2 options enabled on your console?

1. Under This Xbox, select Allow game streaming to other devices.
2. Under Other devices, select Allow connections from any device or
   Only from profiles signed in on this Xbox.

Also, check to make sure AP isolation is not enabled on your router settings - which it should not by default.
