Why is the "Security" The way it is?

Been using the same account for 20 years, trying to set up an account for my daughter so she can play minecraft, i get her account set up, and linked to mine, gave her permissions to have an account, She couldn't get on minecraft because of "How her microsoft account is set up" So I go to change it, and guess what the option isnt under the FAMILY DASHBOARD, so quick google search says i got to do it in Xbox settings, so I get to Xbox Settings, click online security and privacy. Even tho i'm on a machine thats been logged into this account for everyday for the past 5 years, it wants me to verify my phone number.... got a new phone, put in my info put in the code from the text message... and guess what... I get this:

"You can't access this site right now

This site requires a security code to sign in. When your security info updates on 4/10/2023 you will be able to access this site. You can still access sites such as Outlook and Skype that don't require a security code.

On 3/11/2023 you requested that your security info be replaced."

Why?... like Why?! WHAT IS THE POINT?!?! Now i've got to figure something out so she can play Minecraft because I don't think she wants to wait 30 days to play Minecraft on our server. Can we fix this please? It is utterly pointless to me, needlessly infuriating, and I have no option to verify this like my recovery email, security questions or anything, and have to wait 30 days. There needs to be more options to verify yourself, waiting 30 days to make a single change to your xbox settings is ridiculous. Can we please get more options instead of a system that randomly asks you a question, and won't let you proceed any further, and God forbid you got a new phone and need to make a change before 30 days.

It for security reasons why this exist.

You are never able to see the actual answer to your security question. You are able to change the question and provide a new answer, but the only way you can know your current answer is if you go through password reset screens and answer the security question.
No other way to see the answer. That is why it is called SECURITY information.

It takes a month cause Microsoft want to make shore that its u trying to change you password/email ECT for example u offer to give some one season pass for black ops 2 for let's say in return for a Microsoft 1600 point card. Alright u start to do the trade
and u give him your info first before he gives you the points. hypothetically speaking. And he try's to make of with your profile with out paying u. The first thing he will do is change your password so you cant block your profile from there xbox the second
thing he will do is put his emails on you profile so that he nows when u try to retake your profile. The last thing that he will try is to remove your emails. Now keep in mind that those emails you put on your account is to pervent you from loosing your account
in case u forget your passwords no every time this person try's to remove your info from your account an email goes out to who Evers emails are on that account asking u if u chose l to remove or edit your proofs it will have tow links one that will say confirm
that you want to delete this email and add what ever email he or she put on your account. And the other link saying if you u did not make these changes please click the link below. And this is why Microsoft gave it a month to remove you emails so that u still
have access to your account after it been stolen so u can change your info and change your passwords. So the thief can't access your account. Hope this answers you question.
