Why is the lag so bad?

I played Titanfall during beta week and it ran like a dream. Now it's horrible laggy and the majority of my games are over run with "You melee (or shoot) first, but die" instances. And of course it's bad enough knowing you melee'd first and died. . .It's
worse when you get to watch the 'instant replay' of you kicking first -with contact- then 3 seconds later your enemy kicking the air 5-feet away from you for your 'cause of death'.

Not to mention the constant 'breaks' where you are stopped so the game can load.

I thought Microsoft servers would be a benefit, but I've actually experienced better performance from EA and their servers (Like on Garden Warfare).

It's disappointing to say the least. Are the servers performing less than adequate for anyone else?

Why is bf3 lagging?

Im trying to find out why bf3 is lagging for me all of a sudden. I never had this problem. My Internet is running fine and my ports on the wireless router are open. It can't be the router because The game still lagged for me when it was plugged directly to the modem. What would be the problem? I cleared the cache also. And it only laggs with bf3, no other game.

In addressing the problem of lag, ask yourself why lag is so noticeable in CoD and not other games?

 

I've had a few games where the lag was unbearable but i just back out of the lobby, and go into a new one. For the majority of the time though I have a pleasant experience when playing this game

 

We don't have azure servers here yet so the AI skips around the place abit on the current server but apart from that I'm on 4-5 bars and 40-50ms and gameplay has been good.

 

During the battle it ran smooth for me as well but now I'm down to having 1 to 2 bars lately. The lag started sometime last week, it was horrible. I kicked a guy three times and still ended up dying, I had to record that lol. I usually take a break if it
gets that bad or restart everything.

 

I've been perma five bars and less than 35ms on the lag since launch here on East Coast. Every now and again it does the dumb connecting thing between matches where it freezes you out of being able to check stats or arrange burn cards.

My in match experience has been next to air tight. Couple of CoD style dead around corner deaths but nothing major. And if I shoot at something it usually dies. Can't complain. Hope it works out for people who are having difficulty.

 

For the most part it is running extremely smoothly, only time it gets bad when the drop pods with Grunts/Spectres drop in it will occasionally cause a dip in frame rate or lag. It is usually only happens when you are near them when they come down.
