Why is the lag getting worse in this game?

This game used to run smoothly but now it is getting out of control. A lot of times I get killed as soon as I see someone. I watch the killcam and what it shows isn't even close to what I saw. My internet speed is pretty good and I noticed that a lot of
people in the lobby have very few bars. I really wish they could clean this up a bit so that it is a even playing field. Nothing is worse than lag!!

Titanfall Lag & Screen Tearing

It seems to be getting worse and worse by the day hopefully its fixed soon lag on titanfall sucks

"My lag is better than your lag". The lag is so bad in this game it take away all of competativness from this game. One vs One are a joke. A rank 5 person standing in a kill zone and can kill the whole team, with the right connection. Why is it the more
money Xbox make off of these games, the worse the lag gets.

 

I concur, Frame dropping has been an issue for me the last few days, never was an issue until this latest patch. I stopped watching killcams as it was causing me to rage too much. Lag sucks, but the worst is when they never have you targeted on the killcam,
and you are left scratching your head around who designed the hit detection. :-/

 

The game still runs smoothly for me, but a lot of people have been complaining about the connection.

 

Another issue I've had lately which may be lag related is when a pilot comes near me, never faces me on the screen so I feel like I have the upper hand to get fancy. Then bullets come out of his gun sideways and kill me.

 

Hit detection is definitely an issue in this game, as well as the intentional lag coding they seem to have set up. Yes, watching the kill cam can be quite amusing.

Overall though, most of my mathces are still fun - when not grinding that last challenge kill.

Im having the same lag issues on this game that i don't really play it much anymore, maybe a round or two but then i just stopped due to 1) Lag 2) Hit detection 3) Screen tearing as a result of lag

What's up, still doing the Goal Line Blitz?

I've noticed a little lag here and there the last few days, nothing too crazy though.

 

I mean, its a few annoyances, its not game breaking lag to me. It still continues to be the most fun Ive ever had playing an online FPS.

 

Really? Im having a hard time playing more than one match, I play a match get extremely bored an GO back to my BF4, end of story.

 

I've found the same thing, lag seems worse since the last patch, it's getting as bad as BF4 in some matches. I've been killed by kicks before my opponents kick animation has started, died long after taking cover and the G2A4 now takes 5 to 6 shots to drop
a pilot, sometimes more and that gun got buffed in the last patch so that could be a hit detection thing. It drops me offline more often than it used too and has frozen on the load screen once already which it never did before. Is this a plot by EA to drive
people back to BF4 ?!?!?

 

I'd love to get details on some peoples ping, dl and ul before they complain about lag... You know just so we can get the whole picture as to what's wrong.

 

Ive been lagging noticeably more since update 5. I have a ping of 13ms and a 1GB connection, so I know its not my connection. (I live in Hong Kong and connect to the Asian Server, which is based in Hong Kong)

Its becoming quite frustrating actually since this is the only game I can play where I am not at a huge disadvantage due to latency. (Battlefield is next with a ping of roughly 68 to the Japanese servers)
