Why is the headset adapter so expensive?

I must be the only person with the higher end turtle beaches that come w a Bluetooth dongle. It is amazing on 360 and even hooks to phone or other device at same time. Taking calls while gaming is pretty cool

x1 is a major step backwards for sure. For them to even sell a non surround sound headset is ridiculous. The wired version of turtle beach for 99 is full surround sound.

why do they sell junk for such an expensive hobbby

in the UK its £20 which is $33.50 ($20 in the UK is about £15, still alot for a wire but a bit more reasonable)

Does the USB make it a wired controller and is it long enough to use, or just a small cable for updating, is its long enough that makes it a little better.

Just called the 4th GameStop, 'yes we got them in today, and we are sold out.'

Looks like they are not that expensive, and I'm going on a hunt.

The USB that comes with it is fairly short... Pretty much just for updating.

Now the cable that comes with the Plug-n-play kit is much longer, and reasonable for gaming.

Sadly, if like me you want an Atlas, you're gonna need to buy that thing, no matter how expensive it is.

I didn't want to have to spend the extra $5, but the only place I could find the adapter was gamestop.com, the only place that wasn't selling for MSRP.

I didn't preorder the adapter because I thought I might get a pair or Polk 4 shots, but looked around a little bit and found the Razer BlackSharks more my taste.

You want me to take a picture of my setup with my gamertag and PSN ID on each console?

I play BF4 for 2-3 hour sessions, and it seems like i'm charging my controller every time I hop on. Although, my DS4 can sit for up to a week between, but my Xbox controller can too.
