    Why is the factory reset loading so long?


    I did a factory reset and now it's been on a loading screen for a while now. If I'm not mistaken after loading it should allow me to put my email in all that but like I said it's been loading for a while now, longer than it usually does for a factory reset. Initially the Xbox started giving me problems after what I assumed was a unsuccessful system update because it went on by itself and just stayed like that for hours. What should I do?

    An update on my previous reply about the update being stuck on 88% > I did some extra research and found that a power cycle would fix the problem. I then did two power cycles and then update continued as normal and everything is working now. Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.

    How long does the offline update normally take? I started it at around 22:05 and it's currently 22:43, it made it to step 3 but it's been on 88% for little while now.
