Why is the enforcement team ban people for simple swear words?

So about a year ago I have sent messages to other players trash talking because they would piss me off sometimes, like swearing in most cases just basic insults like F*** you, but when I do so they tend to message me back saying something along the lines
of "Have fun getting reported" then I just shrug it off like its nothing because it means nothing. About a day later I will get communication banned I also tested this out myself when people would send non threatening messages at me but it contained swear
words in it so I would report it, later I would receive a message from Xbox thanking me for reporting them and that they have taken action on it. So why would people get banned for saying swear words I have read the COC over and over again I noticed that trash
talking was allowed but as long as you didn't threaten them or harass them there shouldn't be any repercussions. Now I understand banning people for using racial remarks or extremely offensive words but why ban people that just do a little bit of trash talk,
in the end words are just words if someone isn't happy with what people are messaging them then just block them there is no need for banning people just for a little bit of swear words when there are spam bots attempting to trick people into going to a malicious
site or modders running around ruining peoples days. Pretty much what I am trying to say is worry about more about serious thing rather than people just venting out at other people on Xbox its just the nature of humans to do so when they are angry.

Meaningless Suspension

The Xbox enforcement team does not life ban lightly, does anyone else use your account?

 

MS starting to ban your account and remove purchases...

If you have naked pictures of yourself on OneDrive you should be banned from the internet to save you from your own stupidity.

This is a clarification of the TOS that has always existed. Probably asked for by the enforcement teams who end up banning people for enfractions that fall under “not limited to” violations of the TOS.

 

In the
Code of Conduct, it is specifically stated to not use "profane words or phrases".

The Enforcement team monitors for any violation of the Code of Conduct before they issue a suspension of any kind. Xbox messages are one thing they tend to review.

 

You need to remember that there are all ages on Xbox Live. Some older like me and some much younger like pre-school children. Xbox Love is Rate E for everyone even though there are games that have different rating. You need to remember that you need to
play and communicate at the E rating. This is what the code of conduct is trying to live up to and when you signed up for an account, you agreed to the conditions.
