Don’t engage with someone like that. Just mute them, then report and if you want to take an extra step, go ahead and block them so you’re less likely to play with them in the future.

I got a 24 hour ban for calling some guy a [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] after he sent multiple sexist messages to me after dying to me in a video game.

So MICROSOFT, its okay for a man to tell me to "get back where I'm useful...kitchen," but its not ok for me to stand up for myself?

And as a streamer, you're sending a stellar message to all the other female gamers out there who aspire to do more in this field AND have to deal with this kind of behavior on a daily basis.

I'm not an expert on the inner workings of the policy enforcement team, but as far as I know there is no "swear detecting bot" that automatically bans people. All reports are looked over by members of the policy enforcement team and they do take context
into consideration when reviewing reports and they issue punishment as needed.

I don't want to sound harsh or accusatory, but you did violate code of conduct and you seem to understand that you did. There's nothing we on the forums can do about this since the Policy Enforcement Team doesn't even use the forums.

The best course of action in the future would be to block people that are trying to get you to blow your cap. There's literally nothing to gain by reacting to them and trying to act tougher than them or anything like that, so just ignore them next time,
and if need be, report them.

Most trolls do so only for attention, so you giving them that attention (and fuel for them to report you) is exactly what they wanted and it's exactly what they got. I would advise against giving them that satisfaction and you may be able to avoid any more
comms bans later down the road.

Best of luck in dealing with trolls in the future, but just remember to try and keep a cool head and just block them.

Man I feel you I literally just got the same thing. It's funny how xbox won't ban blatant cheaters but you say one word and it's game over. They can insult your family, insult you, your pets but man you say one curse word and you are done for a week. I've
been with xbox 10 years and they've banned me for literally sending a message full of emojis but didn't ban someone for shooting me from under the map in PUBG. It is a broken system I 100% agree with you.
