Why is split screen not working on “it takes two”

If you are playing it on the cloud you won't be able to play multiplayer locally. The game must be installed first. If you have the game installed then both controllers must be logged in on different accounts then go back to the game and press A on the related screen, It will load up that account and the first controller would still play your account and character.

Not all people playing split-screen are bad. I've played split-screen before with friends and been 1&2 on the leaderboard plenty of times. Two competent players can do well in split-screen if they work together.

It's not that you must play screen split games (those titles able to go split screen anyway) that is just a feature to allow couch coop or couch vs (i.e split screen playing of two players or more). There are games that let gamers take turn or if you own
two tv sets and two consoles you can still play coop. It all depends on the game you pick and the features that game offers.

So you want to play with two TV's in the same house? Why not just play split screen on the same console?

Split Screen two player will only work on a HDTV. If you only have an SDTV, it won't work.
