    Why is my Xbox turning on by its self and other issues


    a couple nights back my Xbox one first gen I believe turned on by itself I turned it off and now when I turn it on it's taking forever to load the home screen sometimes won't even load, my games keep crashing, won't load apps sometimes , and it keeps turning
    on every night , I've unplugged it held down the power button nothing I know is working , please help .

    My xbox one is turning on by its self

    it keeps turning on by its self ill turn it off and it will turn back on by its self a few minutes later and will sign into my account without me turning on my controller and its saposse to wait till i turn on my certen controller

    I have it on instant turn on, I don't believe voice command is active

    If you have Instant on, and there is a an update, it will turn on to install it.

    I would suggest setting it Energy-Saving mode and see if that stops it.

    What do you have the power settings set to?

    You can check it by following the instructions HERE.

    I have it on instant turn on, I don't believe voice command is active
    If you have Instant on, and there is a an update, it will turn on to install it.

    I would suggest setting it Energy-Saving mode and see if that stops it.

    sometimes it may recognize you and turn on, it happens to me sometimes.

    If you have instant on enabled or "Keep me updated" enabled this could be why.

    Also if you have the Original Xbox one console, try taking a soft damp cloth and cleaning off the power button on the console. This happens to me quite frequently. The oils from your fingers will leave fingerprints and some times the slightest breeze will
    cause your left behind fingerprint to turn the Xbox on.
