Why is my Xbox Series X crashing on high quality Games.

I have had the Xbox series x for the past year. Ever since I switched over from a Xbox One S, I noticed it crashes alot on high graphics games such as, Forza horizon 5, Forza Motorsports, Call of duty MW3. I don't have this problem with any other game that aren't HDR. If I'm not mistaken the Series X is suppose to support HDR games. When I do play any HDR game like Forza Motorsports, it'll run smoothly for about 15 minutes. It then either crashes, freezes, or the system will just power off completely. My Xbox Series X is properly ventilated(in my opinion), so there isn't any reason for me to believe it's overheating. If anyone knows how to fix this or I should just buy a new Xbox altogether let me know.
