Why is my Xbox saying I don’t own a disc owned game ??

I have had trouble with my disc version on Grand theft auto 5, so I thought to buy it on the store and I bought the version not compatible with my Xbox so I asked for a refund, which was given. Now when I try to play said game it doesn’t allow me to play the game, even though it is owned on disc?
