Why is my Xbox one turning on by itself?

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the issue! Have you tried a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One console? If you haven't already, let's start out with that to see if that affects any change. Be sure to select 'Reset and keep my games & apps' to make this a painless step to try!

If the issue does persist, try leaving your Xbox One console unplugged for a night after fully powering off the console (press and hold the power button until your console shuts down).

Yeah, I tried also the factory reset, I tried everything...but for my warranty I didn't open it...I think I will change the console...

If you haven't already done so, I would still recommend checking your "Xbox warranty information". But, if you do get a new console, I
can say I am very happy with my new Xbox One S.

Hey there BeyondLife!

When was the last time you cleaned your console? Unplug everything from your Xbox One and using a soft cloth, wipe it down making sure there's nothing "sticking" to the front of your power button. If your console still turns on automatically, check to see
if your console is in
instant on mode. If it is, try changing it to energy-saver to see if that resolves the issue.

Also, is it possible that someone is turning on your console via the Xbox App on mobile phone or using a controller?
