I know why my internet keeps disconnecting. What im saying is my controller disconnects when i lose connection. It will reconnect but on rare occasions it will not turn back on. Dont worry about the wifi part. All I need to know is if the controllers are
supposed to drop conneection and then reconnect when the xbox all of a sudden loses internet connection. I dont lose control of the wifi.

My problem is like yours! I got my console since launch and never had any problems in relation to control. After I did the update in September, my control began to have its own life and then immediately it disconnects and connects again! I mean, before the

My connection is great. I don't have any issues with any of my other wireless devices. It only disconnects from Live when my controller simultaneously disconnects. Its not the controller either. I've bought a brand new 1st party wireless controller just
to make sure. The disconnect only lasts roughly 10-30 seconds and then everything reconnects. Sometimes it will happen multiple times and other times I can go hours without any issue. I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to figure out the issue.

Not sure if my problem is the same, but I get the usual random controller disconnects, however I also get controller disconnects that are a longer duration (still seconds) and when this happens I lose my connection to xbox live for just a split second, enough
to kick me out of whatever game I'm playing. It happens less when I use a wire with the controller. I've sent my console off for repair to no avail and I've purchased two additional controllers, which have also developed other faults (my day one has a
broken L shoulder button, my second one has an intermittent R shoulder button and now my new one has a dodgy A button)

I look after my stuff, both previous xboxes are still running fine (including the original) I preordered Halo 5 and trying to play it is getting depressing.
