    Why is my Xbox live redeem code not working ?


    After typing in my code in the redeem code section it then loads the page telling me that it's a code for 12 month Xbox live, when pressing confirm it then comes up with a message saying "something went wrong" ? What is going on ?

    My son is trying to redeem the xbox live code he recieved with his xbox 1, this is not working and the code that is produced apparently means his account is suspended but we cant find out why

    Purchasing through console works as well as redeeming codes using Redeem Code in Xbox Live menu on Xbox web-site.

    Need help getting my live to work

    I have the same problem I bought a digital code for xbox live, my money is gone but no live. Where is the redeem code? I suppose Microsoft will send me the redeem code to my email or live will start to work automatically.

    Moreover, it's IMPOSSIBLE, to email a problem and those automated virtual 'helperd' don't hepp at all!!!

    I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
    to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

    You have to redeem the code through the game, so go into the xbox live area and select redeem code and it should work.
