Why is my Xbox Gold code is not found?

So, yesterday I purchased a 3 month Xbox Live Gold membership card. I came home today and tried to use it on my account and I received the error message "Code not Found" accompanied by the above information.

I entered the code correctly several times and still had no luck. I re-entered it several times more on my computer just to be sure but the same error message kept popping up. When I purchased the card the scratch-section on the back of it was untouched,
so it's surely not been used.

I have screenshots of both the card, and the error message after attempting to enter the aforementioned code. I will not post it here for privacy reasons.

I'd just like to get my code working. Thank you for any assistance you can lend me.

So I activated my Xbox live gold code on my Xbox one. Only on ONE account. I've added three acoounts since then, two of which are gold enabled and one isn't. Any ideas why that one is not Xbox live gold enabled?

I was wondering why the 7day gold trial code does not work on my brothers xbox? I gave him the code from the ghost card and does not work I then also tryed to use it thru xbox and thru pc and does not seem to be valid. I have not used this so why is it not
valid.

It's an Xbox Code. Xbox is the merchant. The card was entirely intact when I purchased it. I don't think the gas station I purchased the card from can help me very much.

 

That error means there is a Letter/Number that you are entering in that is not correct.

You want to make sure that you are entering in the correct Letters/Numbers when putting the code in.

Keep in mind that some numbers can look like letters for example Gs can look like 6s

If you are still having a problem you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and sometimes you can send an email with a picture of your card and they can try and decipher what the code is but if not you would have to take it up
with the place that you bought the card from.

 

Check this with your retailer (the one you purchased the card from)

Based on the information you've given I'm assuming this is a physical 3 month membership card with a 25 digit code, that was purchased from a retailer. If all of that is correct, if the retailer had failed to activate the card it would give you an error
that the card was not activated. My recommendation would be to contact Xbox support directly at support.xbox.com then contact us, account issues, then other. You should be able to chat or request a call depending on what is currently available in your region.
They should be able to sort out the issue.
