    Why is my xbox doing this


    Hey microsoft recently my xbox controllers are being weird. The homescreen button on my controller flashes and then it disconnects from my xbox one. Its very frustrating because I recently had just bought a new game and I cant play it because the same issue happens, The flashing home screen controller and then it disconnects from my xbox but then it reconects to my xbox but then does the same process a couple seconds later. And i've turned two controllers on at the same time and they both did the same thing at the same time and also when ever it disconnects it, disconnects me from the internet on my xbox one and it reconnects to the internet while my controller is flashing and disconnecting from my xbox. I've tried both wireless and wired options they both seem to do the same thing, both my xbox one and controllers are updated so im just wondering why this is happening and how i could fix it.

    well if you look at the video i have in my last post it stays like this and doesnt go back to 1080p after a few seconds this last time would be the 4th time it has done it and stayed.

    but yes to answer your question. going to have a little chat with xbox tomorrow as well to see what the cause could be.

    I tried the second one but its putting me on a screen saying restart this xbox and troubleshoot when i restart my xbox it doesnt do anything but when i click troubleshoot it says to reset my xbox but i will lose all of my accounts, saved games, settings, home xbox associations, and installed games and apps, but i dont want to lose everything... What do i do?

    i have my X1 set to HDMI auto. I did experiment with just the HDMI setting and it did what yours is doing so i put it back to auto detect. No problem except sometime for a split second on bootup from standby.

    @Saber yes its i have it set to instant on

    @Rippen just did the same thing and the xbox kept refreshing the screen so went back to auto as well

    @pronto ive notice mine is doing this also only for a few seconds. Like a youtube video waiting for HD to hit yeah?
