    Why is my xbox account different on Xbox and on PC


    Hi, i have game pass ultimate on my xbox. And when i try to log on with xbox app on PC it starts upp a new account with then same email. When i look on my xbox i can see that it is the same email as my microsoft email but under subscriptions I cant see my xbox game pass.

    Hi Christoffer, my name is Joel, I'm here to help you with any problems or questions you may have.

    Christoffer, try resetting the "Xbox App" apps as well as the "Microsoft Store" from the Windows menu Settings > Apps & features > app name > Advanced options > Reset.

    Then restart your PC and make sure you log in to both apps with the same account that indicates you have the active subscription.

    So your saying my family of 5 with 1 pc has to have 5 separate game pass subscriptions to use game pass on there pc accounts? I don't need to do this with the Xbox why is it different on the pc? I should be able to buy game pass for the pc and everyone that uses it has access

    Are you referring to why you can't sign in to LIVE, using the same account (Windows Live ID), at the same time but on different platforms (Xbox and PC)?
