Why is my XB1 constantly disconnecting?

Hello

Over the past two weeks my Xbox One has been constantly disconnecting from Xbox Live, roughly every 5 minutes. I use a wireless connection. This is making online play impossible. It has nothing to do with my internet and has only been doing this for the
past two weeks. I've had the console for over two years and my only thought is that it's beginning to deteriorate, but I don't see how that's possible because I have not damaged it at all. Another thing that it could be is wireless interference, but once again
I don't see how, as nothing in my house has changed in the past two weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. These are the steps I've already tried.

- Hard reset console

- Reset router

- Reset the wireless connection on the console

- Removed profile and re-downloaded.

Thank you Mcfly. changing the DNS to what you provided is what my xb1 was looking for. I don't understand why it has such issues constantly w/ connection. It works and then it doesn't work, its connected but not. She is a finicky beast.

slight ticking/crackling noise from Xbox one console

My xb1 is making this noise and my bros does too, its got to be the hard drive seeking, its annoying as hell to the point i cant use xb1 for tv, why the hell didnt they let us swap the drives out? Really poor oversight seeing as they expect this thing to
be on constantly, at least we know it not faulty consoles just loud drives!

I see from your profile that you are in the UK.

Can you please confirm if your ISP is Virgin Media? If it is then they have recently loaded a bad firmware onto the Superhub 2AC routers that is causing issues the same as you describe and you are probably being affected by this issue as well.

As a work around please try connecting your console to the 2g channel of your router as it does not seem to be experiencing this issue when connecting this way. Virgin Media are aware of the issue and working on a new update for the router.

Okay so i had this happened to the point they sent me a new series x and it has continued, here are my findings. I have obsessed over this. Okay so if you wire in a controller, but use a wireless headset, Id bet you cash money the disconnection problem happens even though youre wired in. The solution I've found is that my roomate has a bluetooth reciever he plugs into his trucks aux port. When his truck is the only car in the lot we can replicate the problem over and over, the second we unplug that reciver in his truck it wont happen. Could this be happening to you?

Do you have another console in order to connect and test the controller from there?

Or you can use a mobile phone or PC for this purpose
