Why is my Series X doing stuff on its own?

I mean yeah it occasionally crashes or shut off but that’s once in a blue moon so I don’t care. What I’m referring to is my Series X scrolling to and starting up games, scrolling to the shut down prompt, scrolling to and clicking on my settings, ETC. All while my controller is OFF. Do you have any idea how weird it is to just wake up and see your Xbox starting up Doki Doki Literature Club on its own with no controller? GET OUT OF MY CONSOLE MONIKA!!! Seriously this isn’t a joke despite how it sounds. It also does this while I’m playing. I’ll be in the middle of a game and it decides to think I pressed the home button out of no where. It’s actually quite annoying. Please help.

    :)

Why is my Series X doing stuff on its own?

Hello, how are you? My name is Mateus. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

First, welcome to the Xbox community.

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community, and we're sorry you're having this issue. According to your report, I could believe it was a problem with your console's control, but you said that the problem happens even if the control is turned off, so I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

    Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

    Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

    - Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

    * Thank you in advance for contacting, I hope this can help you.

Hi i own the Xbox series x and I'm being told I can't play Xbox x/s titles?

A Series X is not the same as One X. So which one do you actually own? A Series X is more powerful so some newer games will only work on the Series X and not both.

    Xbox series S ?

That's why its just called Xbox... and the other series or models will be called series x and possibly other series code values yet to be determined officially
