    Why is my screen just gray when I turn on my Xbox one x


    I turned on my Xbox one x everything was fine then I loaded up a game on disc then it started getting glitchy freezing and slow then I restarted it but wouldn't do anything it will just stay freezed then tries turning it off to turned black then I tried turning it on then it just stayed gray but I can open the mode that selects power off,power off controller, restart Xbox then I unplugged it now every time I turn it on my TV just turn completely gray its nothing but gray Ive tried another HDMI but idk if they're both broken or it's the Xbox I need help

    Hey there general wenger.

    We actually have a
    Blank Screen Troubleshooter     you can run through for this particular issue. Unfortunately if none of the steps there work out for you a repair is going to be your best bet. Let us know how it goes.

    So, the game issue is gone. The gray box might be gone. It didn't always happen so it may be a bit to see if it pops up. I don't have a blu-Ray to test so not sure there, either.

    There is an issue that I forgot about. When I turn my xbox on, after the Xbox One logo, instead of bringing up my dashboard it just has a blank dark gray screen. It will sit like that until I press a button on my controller. What's up with that?

    Ok basically I turn on my xbox 360 and it gets pass the xbox 360 part but then basically gets stuck at a gray screen where a circle is spinning but won't load my dashboard ...just trying to basically fix this issue

    I have the same problem!! I bought my xbox one about a week ago and yesterday, when I started playing Assassin's creed unity, after a couple of hours, my game just crashed. It went gray screen and nothing was working. So I closed my xbox with my controller
    and the xbox wont turn off. So, I pulled out the plug of my xbox for it to close. But when I try to open it again, it's jammed on the green screen or when it finally get to home screen and I restart playing AC, the game freeze and it's the same pattern again!!!!
    So, my xbox is always freezing and I cannot play at anything!!! :( What do I do?

    I am having a similar problem. Everything is broken as I cant even sign into my profile. The controller will respond and I can click the xbox button but literally cant click anything, it's like my one x is broken
