Why is my refund money still not showing up in my bank?

i would suggest contact your bank and explain your issue Before contacting Microsoft support teams.

In this case, you have two options, my friend. You can either talk to your bank or financial institution and ask them why the money that returned to your account is not there anymore. Or, you can talk to Xbox support and see why the refunded money is not showing on your bank account anymore.

Did you - or the child, actually - use your credit card to pay for the order? Sometimes the money will get back to your credit card as a refund on the next credit card invoice, and not to your bank account. Refund requests will always return the money to the payment method used for the purchase.

this is ridiculous how i'm still waiting for this refund. and my bank isn't helping me, how can i show them that microsoft actually sent me the refund?? the credit card i purchased my xbox gold used to show up in my purchase history but now it's not.. i
have no proof of showing my bank that there was an actual refund anymore

I am having the same problem. The money has not shown in my bank or Microsoft account (payment was split between 2 payment methods)

I have waited the full 7 days after the item was confirmed as being received back to microsoft 17/4/2022

Once the refund has been approved and already stated as "refunded" on your order history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), it will now depend on your bank on when they will credit back the money but it usually takes 5-7 business days.

The money will be credited back to the same payment method that was used in getting the item.
