Why is my purchased game showing up in the store as unpurchased?

Thanks! Yes, that does seem to answer the question about PC version. Looks like this game only works the Xbox.

As to why it's giving me the option to buy something I already own, that's a mystery.

Yes, if I actually click "Buy" it takes me to a payment dialog, but I don't plan on pressing OK there.

Regardless, if this only works on Xbox anyway, I'll just play it there.

The Xbox website features all games available for Xbox consoles and the Xbox app for Windows, so you'd be correct, the game can be purchased there. If you'd like to know whether a game can be played on PC or not, you need to scroll down to the "Playable on" section of the game's listing page. Here's a picture for reference:



As to why the listing page asks you to buy the game again, it depends.
Sometimes the Xbox website will not register you are logged in when switching pages, have you verified you are logged in to your account? if you are, your Gamerpic should be displayed on the top right corner of the screen.

What happens if you click on the "Buy" button? does it display the payment method selection screen?

The image above shows that the game is buyable from the PC. Now whether or not I'm buying on the PC for the Xbox or for the PC isn't clear, but either way, I already own it, so why would it be asking me to pay (again)?
