Why is my headset only playing background noise

My headset is only playing background noise, like when I turn a song or Netflix movie on, It's only picking up on the instruments or background noises, I can't hear peoples voices, I tried alot of things but it never worked, it started by an electric static noise, but now it has something to do with the xbox, if anyone can help.

Also, when I turn on mono output, the audio is gone

It happens with every headset, I tried some things to fix it like resetting my audio settings, resetting my xbox, you know, hard to figure what it is, Let me know what to do!

Thanks, please try with another headset if possible.

In the meantime I can advise you another things to try:

Are you able to connect your Xbox console to a different TV and test from there?

If not, try this:

A. Power cycle your console:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.

Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

B. Factory reset but keeping games and apps

Open Settings > System > Console info > Reset and then select keep my games and apps (you need to add the profiles later, keep in mind that you need the email and password) <Or if you don't mind select reset and remove everything>

C. Start a remote play session using your PC or phone and see if you're able to get sound from there

D. If option C is true, try performing an offline update for your console if the above doesn't work. In that way Xbox system will be installed from scratch.

I bought 2 controllers, tried to see if it would make any difference but it's staying the same, I will try to get one more headset, but if I can't figure out I might have to see if it's the Xbox
