Why is my gta v not playing?

Hey guys i bought gta v on the marketplace for my xbox 360 and then after it was done loading i got an option to play game and then ive been stuck here for an hour,just wanted to know what's the problem why is it not playing

Why would you play GTA 3 and GTA Vice City when they're gonna release GTA V soon?

the reason i got GTA V is for the online and since the online portion, the player can customize their character, and my online character will be a like-ness to me

and the three main characters of GTA V, micheal - trevor - franklin, are not to my liking

so if there was no GTA Online for Five, i would have not gotten GTA V to begin with given that the Online has the custom character creation.

this is the reason to why i don't start it until Online Launches

It's probably just stuck (crashed). Try restarting the console, and clearing the cache https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/xbox-360/console/clear-system-cache and try starting the game again.

No, people barely play GTA IV because it's old for it's time. There is a lot of good games that have came out that other people want to play. Why do you think Rockstar is about to release GTA V?
