Why is my audio not working only in 1 certain game?

We understand that you're experiencing audio issues with Call of Duty Modern Warfare. This issue may occur due to several reasons, it could be that there is something in your system that we need to check, it could be on your account or the game settings itself, or it could be a device compatibility issues since, you confirmed that this worked with other application and only with this game did not. Checking it hear, it appears that you have done your part for trying to troubleshoot the concern before sharing this with us and we truly appreciate you for that. Nothing to worry, we will work on this together. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue.

First, I will be asking you few questions to help us understand the issue further:

1. May I know if this is working before?
   
2. Do we use Xbox App to launch the game from your device?
   

Note: You can skip the steps you have done already.

In the meantime, let's check if the game's audio settings are configured correctly.

• Launch the game and go to the Options menu.
  
• Under Audio, make sure that the Master Volume, Music Volume, and Dialogue Volume are turned up.
  
• Also, check if the Voice Chat settings are set to Enabled.
  

If the settings are correct, let's try updating your audio drivers.

• Go to the Device Manager and expand the Sound, video and game controller's section.
  
• Right-click on your audio device and select Update driver.
  
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
  

If updating the drivers doesn't work, let's try disabling any enhancements that may be causing the issue.

• Go to the Sound settings in the Control Panel and select your audio device.
  
• Click on Properties and go to the Enhancements tab.
  
• Check the box next to Disable all enhancements and click Apply.
  

If none of these steps work, please proceed to check your network settings and make sure you have a NAT type of Open or Moderate. If you have a Strict NAT type, you might have problems connecting to other players in party chat. *SIGH* NEW UPDATE: 1 minute audio and video for my TV signal works, the next it doesn't, as if it only works when it wants! I already checked that my HDMI cable hooked from my HD cable box to my XBox One isn't faulty, it worked
fine when I hooked it up only from the cable box to the TV. Other than that, I'm 100% certain all of my TV HDMI ports in use both audio and video are fine, so why am I still experiencing difficulties with my XBox One's TV app audio, yet it recognizes my devices
just fine? I even went into settings to double check, the only thing I find ironic is that it can't re-run an audio/video test, but the other onscreen TV commands weork, my XBox One recognizes my HD cable box. Unfortunately, still awaiting/require assistance

Will we get an actual fix for this issue? Alot of people seem to have the same issue with audio not working for certain games, but the audio works fine on the home screen and YouTube etc. I can only get sound for games with headphones, it's incredibly frustrating. Please fix this.

It sounds like you may need to submit the console for service. The DVD drive may not be working correctly.
