Why is moving my Gamertag so hard?

It has been almost a year since I decided to move my Gamertag to a new Microsoft account and I don't feel like I have made any progress. I have tried at least a dozen times, but my own account is sealed off like Fort Knox. It shouldn't be this hard. It should
never be this hard. Most websites take less than 5 minutes to change account Email addresses. I understand that, this is meant to help keep my account secure so no one takes it. At this point, it's so secure, I can't change the freaking Email, and I own the
account! I don't care if I have to go show Bill Gates himself my Birth Certificate to prove I exist and that I own the account, I want to change Microsoft Accounts. There has to be some requirement that's working against me, I want around. I just don't care
about what I could be losing, if anything. I have never had so much trouble changing an email address before. I will continue to pester support every day with a forum post until this issue is RESOLVED. Not when someone responds, but when my Gamertag gets from
Email A to Email b.

does anyone know why my gamertag is visible while playing halo4 xboxlive? Opponents are able to see my while I am moving around the maps? any advise?

I read that before posting. It doesn't tell me why it's showing the error.

 

You know, maybe "pester" was a bad choice of words. I just really want this issue solved. I mean it really has been almost a year. I didn't embellish that. So, Xbox Support, please help and disregard that "pester" thing. This is the only post I'll need.

I don't consider you pestering people, you just want to sort out your issue, and I want to help you get as much information about switching Microsoft Accounts between gamertags through the console

As you know where to navigate to on the forums I will just skip to the full requirements.

1. Your gamertag must be on your console for a minimum of 30 days

2. Your chosen e-mail address to switch to must be registered for 30 days or more

Here is the mislead part:

* during the 30 days that your gamertag has to be on the console, at any point within those 30 days you decide to recover your account. That 30 day timer is reset and the process must start again.

Encase you do not know the path to change the e-mail through the console, it is located at Account > Account Security > Change Microsoft Account

To ensure your issue to be resolved, all requirements must be.met, and as you mentioned its ll is just a security measure. Please keep me updated on your outcome
