Why is minecraft multiplayer still greyed out after allowing it?

There are multiple reports in regards to the aid concern but since there is no official announcement we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

When you sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings kindly “block” these settings if they’re already on “allow” then submit and after that “allow” again then submit.

After making the changes, kindly restart your device.

I tried this, but it doesn't seem to work, the multiplayer button is still grey with the same message. I also double checked to see if the online safety for xbox still said allowed and it does

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft multiplayer.

Based on your description, it seems you have already set your Xbox privacy settings to allow yet the issue persists.

According to the official Xbox website, you can try the following workarounds in case this works: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help...ttings by selecting View details & customize。

"Sign in to Xbox.com.

Select your gamertag, and then select the More actions button (...).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & online safety.

On your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Windows 10 device, select the Online Safety or Privacy tab.

Review the current settings, update all options as "Block", and then select Submit to save your changes.

Note: Before you can leave or switch to another tab, you must select Submit at the bottom of the page. If you don't submit your changes before navigating to other tabs, your changes won't be saved.

Then sign back in, update all options as "Allow" and "Everyone", and select Submit to save your changes.

After that, sign out and sign back into the Minecraft launcher to see if you can access the multiplayer features of Minecraft."
