Why is minecraft launcher telling me I need to buy a game I already have?

I am trying to say, Do you get the paid version of Minecraft? Because it tells me to buy Minecraft, I already have the game downloaded from Game Pass, It tells me to buy.

I only have 1 Microsoft account, when I try to log in with my Mojang account, it tells me to use my Microsoft account that I migrated to. Minecraft net shows my Minecraft player name correctly with my Microsoft account below. The website also tells me to download it because I already own it. After downloading it, the launcher tells me to buy it, that's the problem here. The new, recommended launcher also has a message on the bottom saying: ''Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to Minecraft services''. Clicking ''try again'' does nothing.

Thank you, Farscape. I think this is what I did already. Both computers have Minecraft, but on my computer when I load the game it says I need to unlock the full game.

And when I try to join their game to play, it tells me I need to buy Minecraft. That's what's throwing me off.

Thanks Ricardo, but I downloaded the launcher and from the Microsoft store and used my migrated Microsoft account, but it is still telling me that I have to re-buy Minecraft.

When I click buy from the Minecraft launcher it takes me to this website https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition?ref=Launcher I'm not logged in and it has the option to purchase Minecraft but after logging in to the that website with same Microsoft account that I had logged into the Minecraft launcher with the purchase option is replaced with Already own Minecraft? Download it again. and the launcher download button.
