Why is Minecraft is not playable on my Xbox one s.

I tried booting up Minecraft two days ago and I got an error message saying I need game pass to play it. I purchased the game when I got my Xbox and way before I decided to get game pass. I stop paying for it because I didn’t find the value in game pass and when I went to play Minecraft it said I couldn’t play it because I don’t have game pass. I waited to see if it was a game error and if it would fix its self but it still is a problem. I tried restarting my Xbox, reinstalling the game, doing a factory reset. Removing my account and adding it again. Don’t know why this is happening and I’m very unhappy about it Minecraft is probably my favorite game and I don’t want to have to repurchase it because if I were to, I would have to by the starter pack which is $10 more because it is saying I own the game even thought I can’t play it.

Please try installing the game from there (website)
Once installed give it a new try.

If maybe the issue persists, try this in your console:

go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.

(If that doesn't work use instead 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary$

Maybe is related to the license bug from your side.

Is your Xbox console part from the insider program or do you have an insider OS on it?

Check this and leave the program if necessary:

Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on the device you used to join the playtest or preview.

On the main landing page, select Previews.

Under Previews, select Xbox Update Preview.

Select Join or Manage.

At the very bottom, select Leave Preview

If you're not in the insider program. May I know if you tried deleting the game and then factory reset your console?

Go to settings > system > console info > reset and then select keep my games and data.

Once restored try installing Minecraft.

If you already tried that, before sharing this feedback with Xbox team (https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-pro...) would be great perform an offline update for your console.

In that way Xbox system will be installed from scratch (deleting possible cached files that normal factory reset didn't deleted)

Sadly I can’t sign into my profile on another Xbox. My storage is at 70% and I have no external storage

So I tried every thing you told me and it still wouldn’t open. Also I thing it important for you to know that after I install it and try to open the game, it says there is a 0kb update that ends up being 1.66Gb. Also if I update it it gives me the option to install the game again and I end up with to different Minecraft’s. If I try to open the updated one it tells me I need game pass and if I open the one that not updated it tells me to update the game. If I do update it it disappears and only the updated one remains. If I open it then the same error message pops up.
